Do I need to upload bloodwork to use UpQuest?
No — bloodwork is optional but unlocks deeper personalization. You can start your Quest with just your stats and goals. If you later upload lab results, your AI coach will re-optimize your plan based on your actual biomarkers.
What kinds of bloodwork markers does UpQuest read?
UpQuest reads standard comprehensive panels including testosterone (total, free, and SHBG), estrogen, thyroid (TSH, T3, T4), cortisol, complete metabolic panel, lipid panel (HDL, LDL, triglycerides), HbA1c, fasting glucose, CBC, and key vitamins (D, B12, ferritin, folate). Simply upload your lab PDF and the AI extracts and interprets the values.
Is UpQuest a medical app?
UpQuest is a wellness and health optimization tool, not a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice. While it uses your bloodwork data to personalize recommendations, all supplement and lifestyle suggestions should be reviewed with your healthcare provider — especially if you have existing conditions or take medications. The app reminds you of this regularly.
How does the habit quitting support work?
When you chat with your AI coach, you can mention habits you want to quit — smoking, alcohol, vaping, cannabis, or anything else. The AI builds quitting strategies into your daily routine as trackable tasks, not a separate program. You earn XP for clean days, track your streak, and the plan adapts each week based on how you're doing.
Does UpQuest work with Apple Watch?
Yes. UpQuest syncs with Apple Health, which pulls data from your Apple Watch automatically — including workouts, heart rate, sleep stages, steps, and activity rings. Your AI coach uses this real data when building and updating your Quest each week.
Does UpQuest support TRT or hormone optimization?
Yes — hormone optimization is a first-class feature. If you're on TRT, HRT, or any hormone protocol, upload your lab results and UpQuest will read your testosterone, estrogen, thyroid, and related markers to build a plan calibrated to your hormone profile. Your training load, supplement stack, and recovery targets are all adjusted based on your actual biomarkers — not generic population averages. UpQuest is designed for serious health optimizers, including those actively managing their hormones.
Does UpQuest have features for women?
Yes. UpQuest supports cycle-synced training — your AI coach adjusts workout intensity, nutrition targets, and recovery priorities based on your menstrual cycle phase. Women on HRT can upload their hormone panels for the same biomarker-aware planning available to all users. All bloodwork analysis, supplement recommendations, and wellness tracking features include sex-specific reference ranges and protocols.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Your access continues until the end of the billing period. UpQuest doesn't process your subscription directly — everything is handled securely through Apple.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Your health data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. Bloodwork PDFs are processed to extract your values and then discarded. Apple Health data is accessed only while the app is in use. See our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for details.
